Aka Monday 4th March 2019
Today was a pretty quiet day as I mostly prepped for tomorrow’s
interview, including getting my hair cut nice and short and professional like…during
which I walked a total of 9.88km (6.20 miles), in 1 hour 57 minutes and 8
seconds, which burnt through 1,132 calories and took 12,859 steps…
…and I did the G2 Crossword:
…which gets the week off to a poor start, as I have to grind out the answers, hardly any
of them were obvious or clear to me. I am 1 across (‘aghast’) at how poorly I
did today! And side from a couple of them I should have gotten the answers I
had to cheat on, how could I not get ‘applaud’ from ‘give an ovation’! But I
did learn that another word for ‘stimulus’ is ‘fillip’ and that ‘Goya’ was a
‘Spanish painter, d. 1828’, hopefully tomorrow’s crossword will go better.
