Day 756

Aka Monday 25th February 2019

I walked a total of 5.13km (3.19 miles), which took 1 hour 27 minutes and 11 seconds and burnt through 622 calories and took 8,352 steps…

…when I got home my copy of ’Petrichor’ had arrived in the post:

…‘Petrichor’ is by Gareth A Hopkins, who had a great story in ‘Jazz Creepers Issue One’, which couple with the online buzz, made this a no brainer purchase. It looks beautiful and I’m looking forward to reading it (NB petrichor means “a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather” and I think it’s a word that should be used more often)…

...then I prepped for Thursday's interview...

…and I did the G2 Crossword:

…which gets the week off to a pretty smoking start, as I only have to cheat on a thirteenth of the clues (two out of 25)! If I had known that ‘Faeroes’ is a ‘UK shipping forecast area’ and had gone for ‘deducted’ for ‘taken off’, it would have been a clean sweep!
