Day 752

Aka Thursday 21st February 2019

Went for a morning constitutional, aka my long walk to get the newspaper, but my walking app screwed up and didn’t measure the whole walk…

…when I got home, I prepped for next week’s interview…and read ‘Witchblade #9, #10 and #11, (which are full of action, background/history of the Witchbade and its guardian, demons, secrets, humour and mystery.

At times the story can be a little difficult to follow, but that’s a minor compliant about an enjoyable story. 7/10.) and ‘Mars Attacks#5 (which arrived today and is full of big action set pieces and intimate action pieces and a nice hopeful (and touching) ending. To what has been a surprisingly emotional series, yes, I expected lots of action, but I was expecting the characters to be so rounded out and relatable. 9/10.).

…and I did the G2 Crossword:

…which went pretty badly, with needing to cheat on nearly a third of the clues (six out of 21), it was a real grind to get most of the answers today, but I did learn that the Duke of Wellington’s horse at Waterloo was called ‘Copenhagen’ and that ‘Corot’ was a ‘French landscape painter, d. 1875’.
