Day 669


Aka Friday 30th November 2018

…just felt knackered all day and even fell asleep for most of the afternoon/early evening...and just potted about the place when I wasn’t asleep…

…and I did the G2 Crossword:


…which went a little worse than yesterday’s crossword, as I needed to cheat on six of the 23 clues. The answers pipe was a bit blocked, so they weren’t flowing, but I did learn that the ‘ocelot’ is a ‘nocturnal wild cat of Central and South America’, that a ‘turbine’ is a ‘rotary engine’, that a ‘Throstle’ is an old-fashioned name for the ‘Song Thrush’ and that Damascus is the capital of ‘Syria’.
