Finished my work, and my temp job, said my farewells, gotten
my praise (they were very happy with my work and how I’d done it) and was out
of the office by lunchtime, although I did manage to fit in an interview for
new temp job in the same company. And one minute after handing in my pass and
leaving the office I found out that I got it. I hadn’t even had time to worry
about starting back up with job applications! And now I don’t need to worry
about it until the end of August (when the new temp job ends). As a little
reward for finishing the first job well and getting the second one I saw
'Avengers: Endgame' in 3D, and the 3D does make some of the scenes, especially
the ones set in space and the battle scene, really pop and look fantastic...

…and I did the G2 Crossword:
…which went pretty terribly. I just couldn’t get the answers
without grinding them out, which meant that I had to cheat on nearly a third of
the clues (five out of 18) and I’m not sure why. I finished the temp job I was
doing, everyone there was happy with what I had done, and a few minutes after
leaving I was offered, and accepted, another temp job, so my little grey cells
should have been settled, bit the crossword was just a real grind. Maybe I
should just be happy that got 13 of the clues, rather than annoyed that I
didn’t get five of the clues?
