Back to work today and things are going well, I continued to
plough through the forms, inputting the relevant data, not making mistakes and
getting used to being back in the 9-to-5…
…and when I got home, I found a had gotten a tax rebate from
HMRC, which is nice and will help pay off some bills:
and I did the G2 Crossword:
…which went even worse than yesterday’s crossword, as I had
to cheat on a quarter of the clues (five out of 21), again it was a grind to
get the answers that I did get, like I should have gotten ‘dine’ from ‘eat’,
but I did learn that ‘Benin’ is a ‘West African country, formerly Dahomey’.
Maybe working is getting in the way of my crosswording? Tiring out the little
grey cells before they can get to the crossword?
