Days 817 and 818

Aka Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April 2019

This weekend was sent mostly recovering from drinking a tad too much last night/chilling out due to drinking a tad too much last night 😊

My copy of Bobby Keys’ album ‘Bobby Keys’ arrived on Saturday, and it’s eight tracks of instrumental rock ‘n’ roll, with an emphasis on the horns, which add a little bit extra funk. A really nice album, which makes you feel like you’re back in the ‘70’s chillin’ and partying at a bar somewhere. 8/10.

…and I did the G2 Crossword on Saturday:

…and it ended the crossword week on an average note, as I had to cheat on a sixth of the clues (four out of 23). I didn’t have to grind out the answers, it’s just that there was a complete blank spot for those four clues. But I did learn that Adam and Eve and a third son, who was called ‘Seth’, that a ‘hardstanding’ is a ‘surfaced area for parking vehicles’ and that a ‘Cantor’ is a ‘synagogue official who conducts the liturgical part of the service’.
