Aka Thursday 8th November 2018
Back feels much better today, almost back to normal, and I
spent most of the day procrastinating, listened to James O'Brien on LBC, did a bit
of tidying up, did a little bit of work on a job application (got to write a
personal statement about how I would make an exemplary employee) and identified
three possible new jobs to apply for, built two mini Lego Star Wars ships, Poe Dameron’s X-Wing and Kylo Ren’s Shuttle:
…and I did the G2 Crossword:
…and the upswing continues with today’s crossword and almost
flies off into the sunset as I only need to cheat one twenty-third of the clues
(one out of 23). An almost clean sheet, if I’d gone for ‘outlook’ instead of
‘outcome’, it would have been a perfect crossword. The answers were just there,
hopefully this will ease/excellence will flow into my job applications today (not
to spoil anything, but if you read the first paragraph first, you’d know that
it didn’t quite work out like I’d hoped)!
