Went to my GP to discuss/review my prescription. It had been
working, but then I had a couple of bad days, so I went onto a new drug –
Prochlorperazine - which should be better, although you’re not meant to drink alcohol
when taking it, which might be tricky 😊
After the GP, I popped into town and brought:
iZombie is one of my favourite TV shows – it’s got great characters,
a talented team in front and behind the camera (actors, writers, directors,
etc.), great stories and great style (such as the comic book fade in’s and the puns).
Season Two builds on Season One and hits the ground running with all the main
characters going through big arcs and changes and there’s no easy outs for
them, no hugs and forgiveness and a reset at the end of each episode. The only disappointment
I had was that the fall-out of Liv not donating blood to save her brother was
not picked up (except for the first episode), but I assume that’s because there
was space to fit it in (a couple of the deleted scenes cover Liv and Evan reconciling,
but is this cannon? Will there be a new onscreen reconciliation?).
Haven’t had an opportunity to watch T2:Trainspotting yet
and I’m a bit apprehensive about watching it. What if it isn’t as good as the first
Trainspotting. The first film was great and I don’t want to spoil my memories
of it.
I’ve listened to John Carpenter's Lost Themes and it is pretty good and very
filmic, the only downside is that a couple of tracks are too soundtracky and
don’t quite stand on their own. Looking forward to Lost Themes II.
