Aka Friday 1st February 2019
Today I walked a total of 9.26km (5.75 miles) in 2 hour 14 minutes
and 31 seconds, which burnt through 1,062 calories and took 13,619 steps…
…popped back up to London for a Pay Day Pint, to catch up
with friends, and I picked up ‘Die’ #1 and #2, because catching up with my ‘The Wicked and The Divine’ reading yesterday reminded me how good Kieron Gillen can
be…and I picked up some CDs:

the Stones doing what they do best and playing (acoustically) rock ‘n’ roll
songs. 7/10 for ‘Ripples and 7/10 for ‘Stripped’…
…and I did the G2 Crossword:
…and today’s crossword goes a bit better as the answers were
less troublesome to get and I only needed to cheat on a fifth of the clues
(four out of 23), but I did learn that the yucca plant has ‘sword-shaped
leaves’ and that a ‘dhow’ is an ‘Arab lateen-rigged sailing ship.
…and some other crosswords and puzzles:
