Day 624

Aka Tuesday 16th October 

…I did the actual Civil Service Psychometric Test, which I felt went pretty well, and I should get the results soon…

…and finished watching ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season Four (eps 16 - 22), I really liked how this season was set up with three different, distinct stories (Ghost Rider, LMDs and The Framework) that naturally led into each other and kinda ended referring back to the beginning of the season.

 The ‘behind the camera team do a great job of putting a comic book universe on the small screen and negating the problems that a lack of movie sized budgets bring (i.e. not having access to film level CGI or have time to write, design, shoot, etc, the script), while the cast do a great job in making these characters live and breathe. And together they've made a season which brings the team back together, allows the characters to develop, recommits the teams MO and leaves plenty of changes to be picked up in season five. 

…and I did the G2 crossword:

…which went not so good, as I had to cheat on a third of the clues (seven out of 23), a bit miffed that I didn’t get ‘deft’ from ‘dexterous’ or ‘above board’ from ‘on the level’ or ‘intact’ from ‘unscathed’ or ‘dormancy’ from ‘state of temporary inaction’, but I did learn that ‘Advocaat’ contains raw eggs and that ‘Fife’ borders the Firth of Forth.
