Aka Monday 15th October
…today I did a test Civil Service Psychometric Test, which
is part of my job application, and it was pretty straight forward, so when I do
the real thing tomorrow, when I know I’ll have a quiet 30 – 60 minutes to spend
on it uninterrupted, it should go well…
…I also picked up the John Constantine film ‘Constantine: City of Demons’, which had/has a good trailer, but I think I’m going to save it for
Halloween week…
…and I did the G2 crossword:
…which gets the week off to a pretty good start, as I only
needed to cheat on a seventh of the clues (three out of 21) and I learnt that
(a) ‘Hollands’ is a ‘Dutch gin’ (not sure why I didn’t guess ‘Hollands’ as it
now seems so obvious!), (b) a ‘zephyr’ is a ‘gentle breeze’ and (c) that
‘dapper’ means ‘well turned out’.
