Day 610

Aka Tuesday 2nd October

…I did some more work on my job application, still finding it hard to get into the swing of things and doing a lot of second guessing what to write about. I’ll think that I’ve got a good example for a competency, but half way through working on it I’ll change my mind and decide that it fits a different competency instead!, but it’s getting there…

…and I did the G2 crossword:

…which took a slight uptick, with only having to cheat on a fifth of the clues (five out of 24), and I learnt that someone from Muscat is an ‘Omani’, that Orwell’s real name was ‘Eric Arthur Blair’ and that a young eel is called a ‘elver’. It took me a moment or two to get what ‘flight unit’ meant, flight as a flight of stairs.
