Went for a Long Walk and walked 10.51km (or 6.53miles) in 1
hour 53 minutes and 2 seconds, which took 12,946 steps and burnt 1,000 calories:
…and back home I worked on a new application, but later on in
the afternoon Hays called to let me know that I had gotten the temp data entry
post, so I accepted and breathed a sigh of relief…and I start next Monday…yes
it’s just a temporary position for a month, but it pays much more than I get in
Universal Credit and it’s a foot back on the work ladder and it’ll give me a
chance to show to potential employees that my two year break in employment is
due to me being unemployable, that I can do the 9-to-5 jive…I then informed the
Universal Credit team of my upcoming change in circumstances and took the rest
of the day off in (low key) celebration…
…and I did the G2 Crossword:
…which went the opposite way compared to yesterday's crossword, the little grey cells were on top of their game and I
only had to cheat on one clue! Almost a clean sweep, but I didn’t know that
‘mezzo-soprano’ was a ‘female singing voice’…
