Aka Friday 4th January 2019
No exercise wall today as my feet are barking aka aching
like no-one’s business, so I’m going to give them a bit of a rest for today and
get back to it tomorrow…
…I also accepted an interview for the Health and Wellbing
Co-ordinator post at Basildon Hospital and did some initial prep work for it. Later
on I was contacted by Badenoch & Clark about posts in the DEFRA EU EXIT
Support Team, so I sent them my CV and confirmed that I am interested in the
posts. I was also contacted by Reed and have confirmed that I am looking for
working and sent them my CV…so things are looking promising…
…and I did the G2 Crossword:
… and the dip continues as I need to cheat on a little over
a quarter of the clues (six out of 26) today, but I did learn that the
‘professional first names of Ferdinand Joseph LaMenthe Morton, d. 1941’ are
‘Jelly Roll’ and that he was a ‘ragtime and early jazz pianist’ (thanks Wiki),
that ‘Salaam’ is an ‘Arabic salutation’ and that ‘funicular’ relates to a
‘cable railway’.
