Day 675

Aka Thursday 6^th December 2018

I reviewed and re-reviewed my presentation and made some copies of the ‘long’ version to hand out at the end of my presentation. Except when I checked it again and found some more, small errors or corrections/changes that I wanted to make. So, I’ll need to make some fresh copies tomorrow. The nerves are starting to mount, and the stomach is starting to get upset, but I should be okay for tomorrow…well I have to be, it’s not like I can drop out now! And I’ve got credit card debts to pay!!!...

…I also watched ‘Winchester’, which is an okay haunted house film, plenty of jump scares and creepiness and it’s well acted, although the premise, the owner of the Winchester Gun Company is haunted by the people who have been killed by a Winchester, so she has her house altered/re-built continuously to trap/house the ghosts. It really reminded me of an old Alan Moore ‘Swamp Thing’ story, which on checking is about the Winchester House, so no wonder it felt similar! I would watch it again. 7/10 (although I was a little distracted by tomorrow’s interview and doing a bit of final work on the presentation)…

…which went in pretty much the same way as Wednesday’s, with having to cheat on four of the 19 clues. Maybe it’s because I’m preoccupied with tomorrow’s interview?!? I should have gotten ‘quagmire’ and ‘road test’, but I did learn that three football teams have ‘Albion’ in their name and ‘bellicose’ means ‘warlike’.
