I had my third NHS Health Check related appointment and my
blood pressure is still a little too high, so I’ve going to have an ECG and
24-hour blood pressure monitoring to see what’s what. After these tests we’ll
then discuss what to do next and whether I’ll need to take medication to bring
the blood pressure down to normal.
I then went into town and brought some more DVDs:

Allstars remix of Pigeonhed’s Battle Flag had arrived. This is one of my
favourite tracks, but I can remember reading that when it was released as a
single an uncleared Prince sample had to be removed, which should be on this promo
of the remix.
I also remembered to use the ‘Map My Walk’ app when I left the
GPs and to turn it off when I got home and I walked 4km and burnt 487 calories.
The biggest problem I have with this app is either remembering to actually use
it or remembering to turn it off when I get on the bus or train, which screws
up the measurements. I’ve lost count of the number of times that I’ve
remembered to stop the app after ten minutes on the train.
