I recently ordered Parliament, Funkadelic & P-Funk All Stars’ Dope Dogs album and when I got back it had arrived:
Dope Dogs is 1994 album which I got because it includes Lost Dog on
it, which has Bobby Gillespie and Denise Johnson on backing vocals. Lost Dog is
a relaxed, funky track that sucks you in and pops you out feeling chill. It also fits
in with the funky cuts from Primal Scream’s Give Out…LP, which makes sense as
George Clinton produced several of the tracks on Give Out….
