Today, while shopping, I walked a
total of 8.17km (or 5.08miles) in 2hours 8minutes and 24seconds, which took 12,639
steps and burnt 992 calories)…

Comic Book Day beauties:
…and I finally got
the Beastie Boys ‘Licensed to Ill’. I got the Beastie Boys book (Beastie Boys Book) for Christmas and
watched the book event on youtube, which focuses on their early days, so was
feeling nostalgic and picked up their first album, which pretty much still
stands up, with only ‘Fight for Your Right’ feeling old for me (although that
might be due to it being over used in film and TV shows as a sign that a
character is a free spirit or a rebel). Very bassy and hard, whereas the later
Beastie Boys records have a more organic, funky, less hard edged sound.
…and I did the G2 Crossword:
…and there’s no cold as the nose dive turns into a majestic
soar, as I only had to cheat on one of the 23 clues in Wednesday’s crossword.
The answers just came to me and it would have been a perfect score if I had
known that ‘Galsworthy’ was the ‘author of The Forsyte Saga’.
