Day 666

Aka Tuesday 27^th November 2018

It’s the six hundred and sixty-sixth day since I left work/took redundancy and about two months since I properly started job hunting…and I finally got an invite to an interview, which will be my first in about ten years! As part of the interview I need to give a five-minute presentation, so spent a lot of today thinking about what to include in the presentation. Five minutes doesn’t sound like a long time, until you have to fill it!...

…and I did the G2 Crossword:

…which brings us back down to earth a little as I had to cheat on a sixth of the clues (four out of 23), but I did learn that ‘Doge’ was the ‘old chief magistrate of Venice or Genoa’ and I really liked 12 down, ‘a period in the US!’ as a clue for ‘full stop’, almost cryptic, but not to tricky that I couldn’t get it.
