Day 150

Made it into town to do my foodshop and to get Too Slow To Disco Vol.3, but felt very unwell and there were a couple of times when I really had to fight to stay out and not run home. I just felt like I was in a constant state of panic and at any second I would die.

The local HMV and independent record shop didn’t have Too Slow To Disco Vol.3, so I ordered it from Amazon, but I did do my foodshop, although for most of the time I was hanging onto the shopping cart for dear life!!! I also brought:

(I got a second copy of John Carpenter’s The Thing as my laptop wouldn’t display the film in widescreen and I thought that a more modern print wouldn’t have this problem, but it does ).

I read All-Star Batman #11...

...and it was a good Batman story, but nothing more and I’m wondering if it’s time to give up Batman and Batgirl (which are the only mainstream superhero comics I read). They are both competently written, drawn and coloured, but there isn’t any special or unique about them (unlike the Young Animal titles or those published by Image, Boom, etc.) and as I’m on a limited budget, I wonder if I should drop them.

I also watched Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which still stands up as one of Marvel’s better films, lots of fun, action and heart.
