In June (or at least from Friday 1st June to Monday 25th June) I did some stuff, including:
3. Brought some fantastic comics:
4. Nearly walked into a wasp (or maybe bee or hornet) nest, I was walking into town for my mid-week food shop and I just wondered into them, I didn’t want to get too close, so can’t positively id the species 😊, which was pretty easy as the nest was in the wall on the street!:

...in a public toilet and was impressed that the council were
so public health minded enough to include this service in place were people
were likely to inject drugs and that it was also in braille.
6. Added to my Ghostbusters collection:
7. The Leigh Art Trail had work up at Chalkwell Train Station and these, from TOMA, were my favourites:

8. I read Alistair MacLean’s Bear Island novel. I really like
the film version of Bear Island, which prompted me to get the novel that the
film is based on. The novel is a great adventure thriller and is really
different from the film! The film is practically all set on Bear Island and features
a UN expedition of scientists from different countries who travel to Bear
Island to study climate change, whereas the novel features a film crew
travelling to Bear Island to make a film and is equally set on the boat taking
the crew to Bear Island and on Bear Island. They both revolve around Nazi gold/gold
stolen by Nazis, but a lot of the characters motivations differ between the novel
and film, but I won’t say anything so that neither the novel or film are spoiled.
Both are great fun and recommended.
9. And I did the G2 crossword:
